Support Groups Sponsored by Women At Risk and CPMC's Department of Social Work
Women At Risk and CUMC's Departments of Social Work Services co-sponsor bi-weekly peer support groups for women with breast cancer.
These sessions allow newly diagnosed/treated women a unique opportunity to meet over an extended period of time to explore concerns.
The support group for women with breast cancer meets every other Friday from 2-3PM in the Garden Floor Conference Room in the Herbert Irving Pavilion, 161 Fort Washington Ave.
New participants may start at any time.

For Women in Other Locations
If you are not in the New York area and can not participate in the Support Groups offered here, many other organizations also sponsor rehabilitation groups and services for women with breast cancer.
Volunteers who have had breast cancer are frequently available to talk to women who have a newly diagnosed breast cancer.
To talk to someone who has had breast cancer, ask your physician to arrange a meeting.
